Tess Delaney is the hottest property in romantic fiction, but the reclusive Tess has a secret – she’s really the alter ego of Garrett Thorne, bad boy brother of business tycoon Ellison Thorne. When Tess is nominated for the Golden Kiss Award, Garrett recruits PR specialist, Kendra Davis, to keep his secret and be Tess for the awards despite their mutual animosity.

Hatred turns to scorching passion, but when Tess is stalked by a rabid fan, an identity crisis is eclipsed by a battle for survival. It seems Tess, the woman who doesn’t exist, just might understand Kendra and Garrett’s hearts better than they do.

Outstanding! Identity Crisis is the second book in the Executive Decision Trilogy by Grace Marshall--an alter-ego of KD Grace. Marshall weaves together a wonderful and brilliant story. With so many twists and turns, the author keeps you on your toes from the beginning right up to the very end.  What I also loved is that even if you did not read the first book in the series you are not completely lost in this book.

Garrett Thorne is a complex character.  He writes out his feelings under the name of Tess Delaney. Only the very select few know who Tess Delany really is.  He is a very private person whose outside appearance does not match who he is in private because he is worried that if anyone knows who Tess really is he will not be able to write.

Kendra Davis is also a private person who can switch identities at the drop of a hat. Kendra seems to love her ability to slip into different identities without anyone knowing.  She has her own secrets and demons that add just the right amount of spice to the story.

The sexual tension between Kendra and Garrett is completely off the charts.   It is very apparent from the first chapter that these two were made for each other.  Overall, this was a fabulous book! Grace Marshall wrote a story where I did not see the ending coming.  The ending was perfect.  I would have been completely dissatisfied with any other ending.  I can’t wait for the next book!
